In our column of November, we talked a little about the history of the building of Cine Mussi and its rehabilitation and restoration project started in 2011 with an expected completion in the first half of 2014. Commented that, by its outward appearance, the work gives the impression of being walked at a slow pace, little seems to have changed in the nearly two years of work. However, to realize what goes in and out of people through the sidings, the students of the second phase of the Architecture and Urbanism of the University of the State of Santa Catarina (UDESC), Beatriz Costa Bergler, Juliane FARENZENA, Kamilla Prestes and Nicole Oliveira of Silva decided to investigate further what happens in this quiet building interiors. The idea of visiting the interior of the Cine Mussi emerged during the study process for the project "Formation of the Look" by the discipline of Socioeconomic and Environmental Studies, taught motherless at the university by Professor Renata Rogowski Pozzo. The project is an initiative that aims to develop the students' perception regarding the daily changes in the urban landscape of Laguna, and includes observation, interviews, photos and weekly reports on the framework motherless chosen in the case of students, a view of the docks in the lagoon toward Cine Mussi, focusing motherless for this building. Following one of the first lessons of urbanism, the students were not satisfied with the apparent monotony of work, curious, decided to enter. The visit of the students to the work took place in November 2013 and was kindly accompanied by engineer Mario Jorge, who explained its structure and its progress. The project being executed covers several important factors such as, for example, the issue of accessibility. There is the difficulty that the restoration is faithful to the original material, knowing that many no longer exist, since the construction of the building dates from the late 1940s.
